This is a very good book to teach yourself from. However, it does have problems with editing of both the text and the figures. While the text problems are acceptable, the bad figures can make it difficult to learn, especially for someone that is entirely new to the GD&T. however, if you already know some, or have another resource to cross-reference, you are OK.
That being said, this is a great resource. I have already recommended it to my coworkers (both skilled in GD&T and completely new to GD&T) and if they can pry it from my hands, I am sure they will learn a lot as well.
